ENVIRONMENT
Through our materials, our factories and even our packaging, we are moving step by step towards more responsible production, in order to reduce our impact on the environment.
MATERIALS
At NOO, everything starts with our materials. We source our fabrics primarily from Europe . The majority of these comply with the OEKO-TEX label , which guarantees the absence of harmful chemicals in textile products. Whenever possible, we reuse our remaining fabric stocks at the end of the collection. Each season, we increase the number of pieces made from recycled fibers and favor natural materials such as Ecovero® viscose. In the interest of transparency, we give you the opportunity to find the origin of our materials as well as their composition in each product sheet.

Our entire production chain is located around the Mediterranean basin. Between the NOO team in Marseille, our suppliers, and our factories, we limit transportation as much as possible. And of course, we favor shipping by sea, which is less polluting.

NOO FOR THE PLANET
Since 2020, our NOO FOR THE PLANET label has brought together NOO pieces that are conscious of their impact on the environment. These are pieces made from a French material, a material from an existing fabric stock, or a material containing at least 50% virtuous fibers (such as recycled fibers, Ecovero® viscose, or organic cotton, etc.).
In 2024, 149 of the 330 models we created received the NOO FOR THE PLANET label. This represents 45% of our collections over the year .
Of these 149 certified models, we are proud to have offered you:
- 50 models in French material
- 32 models containing at least 50% recycled fibers
- 30 upcycled models, i.e. made with fabrics left over from our previous collections
- 24 models containing Ecovero® Viscose , a viscose made from sustainable wood from FSC or PEFC certified forests
- 24 models created with fabric from an existing stock at our suppliers
TRANSPORTATION
In 2024, 99.9% of our goods traveled by boat , a much less polluting mode of transport than air travel. All NOO orders are packaged in 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard boxes . The cards we sometimes include in parcels are produced from certified paper and printed with solvent-free vegetable ink. We also offer a NO PACKAGING option, which allows you to limit the packaging of your orders.
SOCIAL
No commitment is complete without a conscious approach based on respect for people and resources. We are proud to work with audited workshops and to commit to causes that are close to our hearts.
AUDITED WORKSHOPS
To create your NOO pieces, head to our partner workshops around the Mediterranean, where our designers travel each season. We choose them for their expertise, transparency, and social and environmental commitments.
Oeko-Tex certified, our first Tunisian workshop is audited via the BSCI system (A rating) , which guarantees workers' rights in emerging countries: freedom of association, union rights, working hours and decent wages.
Also based in Tunisia, our second workshop is GRS certified , which means that it is committed to training its employees on environmental issues, controls its consumption of electricity, greenhouse gases and energy, and manages its waste responsibly.
Our Turkish workshop is SEDEX certified , a globally recognized accreditation that guarantees ethical and responsible sourcing and manufacturing practices.
SOLIDARITY COMMITMENT
Whenever we can, we get involved with associations to support women.
In 2024, for Pink October, we highlighted and supported the Ma Parenthèse association, a welcoming and support center for women with cancer, dedicated to meetings, discussion, well-being, and mutual aid. We donated 116 NOO homewear pieces from our previous collections to women fighting cancer.
AT NOO
Co-founded 10 years ago by two women, Elissa Regnier-Vigouroux and Anaïs Laurent, NOO now employs 35 strong and passionate women , who work hand in hand to make you free, confident and beautiful.
Our headquarters, located in the heart of Marseille, gives everyone the opportunity to live in an environment close to nature.
80% of our employees have permanent contracts.
